APTA & ASSOCIATES was founded in 2018 from the initiative of a group of young Intellectual Property (IP) Attorneys who graduated from prestigious universities in the countries with strong IP practice (such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan, etc.) under the orientation of Mr. Bui Van Hom – an IP Attorney with 40 years of experience who obtained higher academic degree on Patent Management at U.S.S.R Central Academy of Sciences in 1982 and awarded “Medal for the development of Science & Technology” twice. Many of our employees have also interned or worked at reputable global law firms. It can be said that we are a harmonious combination of the rich experience with creativity and enthusiasm. Since the inception, we have quickly asserted our position in the vibrant Intellectual Property services market with the current presence of more than two hundred (200s) IP Law Firms. Statistics show that we have achieved a success rate of over ninety percent for the cases that we handle so far.

APTA & ASSOCIATES works with individuals, small and large International Corporations, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), universities and research institutions and their IP advisory partners to establish and secure their IP rights in the jurisdictions that our services cover. Our IP Attorneys possess a wide range of legal expertise in all IP legal matters as well as in depth knowledge of various technical fields common to IP practice, including electrical, mechanical, computer science, chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices. We are currently member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), Asian Patent Attorney Association (APAA) and Vietnam Intellectual Property Association (VIPA).

Up to now, the IP Services of APTA & ASSOCIATES have not only been limited to Vietnam but also expanded to other Indochinese countries such as Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar with our affiliate offices being operated by local experienced Attorneys. Our close relationship with hundreds of IP Agencies around the world does help us to effectively assist our Vietnamese corporate clients to establish their IP rights in over 130 countries and territories including European Union (EU), the United States, the United Kingdom, P.R. China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, etc.
